In 1975, 17-year-old Chalio (Cha-lee-oh) Ortega made his way to Round Rock, Texas from Guerrero, Mexico. It wasn’t long before Chalio found a job in an upholstery factory based in Austin. The CRAFT quickly became his PASSION. A few decades later, Chalio decided to start his own company: Economy Upholstery. A Family-Owned Business, proudly serving the Austin and Surrounding Area, offering Commercial, Residential Upholstery and much MORE!
With God leading the way, his family along side, and with 40 plus years of experience in the trade, the Goal and Mission is to leave every Customer happy and satisfied by putting 101% into everything that is done here at Economy Upholstery.
